Safestore’s Graduate Training Programme focuses on providing you with the skills, experience and knowledge to become an excellent member of the Store Management team. With dedicated training and development, set in a practical environment, you will progress faster up the career ladder than with most other retailers. You will accomplish many things during your time as a trainee and will be provided with the training to equip you to handle a variety of situations when you reach your target position of Store Manager.
You will work closely with Senior Managers, learning the art of selling, improving your sales skills through effective customer service. You will also develop and improve your people management and organisational skills. You must have a university degree in a business related subject in order to apply. I joined Safestore as a Graduate Trainee 9 months ago. I am now working as a Designate Manager where I have a varied role working for all the different branches in my region. I help with the day to day running of the store as well as training to be a Store Manager so that in the future I will be fully qualified to be the Manager of my own store.
