Brazilian property offers "exclusivity"

11 September 2007

Many people in the UK are becoming interested in the Brazilian property market due to its relatively exclusive appeal, it has been claimed.

Global property consultancy Knight Frank said that because Brazil is yet to be developed in the way that popular markets such as Spain and Dubai have been, the country is becoming increasingly popular with buyers across Europe.

According to the company, the South American nation appeals to both people looking to move abroad and professional investors, as it is still an emerging market with good potential for profit.

Speaking about Brazil, a spokesperson for Knight Frank commented: "A number of Europeans have already discovered it.

"It is somewhere which has not been developed to the extent of Dubai or Spain, so it offers a bit of exclusivity."

Last week, overseas property group Jackson International advised people to use "common sense" when buying a home in a foreign country.

Self storage can help organise a move abroad.
