Women 'consider their lives cluttered'

20 May 2008

Four out of five women think their lives are cluttered, it has been found.

Research undertaken by confectioners Ricola has found that many women feel overwhelmed by the amount of clutter in their lives.

One in five admitted that they thought they could fill ten car boots with their excess belongings, while a quarter of those surveyed claimed to carry over 15 items in their handbags.

Now that spring is here, many householders may be considering clearing out their clutter; however two-thirds of women plan to do so but never find the time.

According to nomoreclutter.com, de-cluttering a house requires taking one step at a time. The website suggests rewarding yourself after completing a task because "the vision of that chocolate bar will keep you motivated".

When de-cluttering, why not invest in a storage system that will help tidy away all personal belongings?
