A large proportion of women believe that not only are their wardrobes overly cluttered but so to are their social lives, according to a new survey.

Research by Ricola show that 79 per cent of women feel that their lives have become too cluttered.

One in five claim that their unwanted possessions could fill ten car boots, while a further 47 per cent have missed calls because they have been unable to find their mobiles in a cluttered handbag.

Although 78 per cent admit their house is filled with clutter almost seven in ten fail to act to plans to remove junk from both their homes and their handbags.

Around 60 per cent of respondents claimed that this excess baggage extends to friends, with almost one in three willing to discard five or more people they know.

Those women who are looking to declutter their lives may want to consider looking into safe storage options.
