Brazil looking attractive for moving abroad

17 August 2010

Homeowners who are looking for a change of pace and considering a move abroad have been advised to consider Brazil.

The South American country is an attractive location for those who wish to make an investment of their property purchase, according to Les Calvert, director at Property-Abroad.com.

He said that the country's economy is growing well and his company is currently doing a lot of business in the country.

"For investment purposes, it is a growing economy, prices are still reasonable and there is definitely a market there for Brazil," Mr Calvert explained.

For those looking at locations closer to home, the expert also suggested that Europe still has many good deals, although they are more difficult to find.

Recent findings from Rightmove Overseas found that searches on properties in Spain, Italy and the UAE have all fallen since the recession, while Germany and the Netherlands have increased.
