Make space at home with de-clutter tips

26 August 2010

Having many large items at home can clutter up a house quickly, so by simply trying some storage tips it can be easy to make space.

Making the most of all available room is one of the priorities for anyone trying to find more storage space at home, with Sara Gray Miller, editor of Country Living magazine, telling Good Morning America to try hanging things to any available surface.

The expert explained that a peg board could be attached to the back of a door and items like paintbrushes and tape can be hung from it, freeing up a drawer.

Organising letters or magazines can be made easier by hanging wire cages from the wall that they can be put in, with the baskets also making a great place to hang keys from so they do not get lost, Ms Gray Miller added.

When the time comes to de-clutter your home, the Trinidad and Tobago Guardian recently advised being realistic about how long it will take.
