There is a wide variety of office space available in London, according to the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Iain Smith, spokesman for the independent, non-profit business support and networking organisation, explained that the location of a property depended on what you wanted from it.

"You have the powerhouse - I guess it's Westminster - because there's so much business activity, but then you have financial centres like the City of London and Canary Wharf," he said.

"Then you have more artistic, up-and-coming areas like Silicon Roundabout and Tech City, and east London. You also have up-and-coming areas that are receiving a huge amount of public investment.

Mr Smith added that with the Olympic site and its surrounding area, there was the possibility of it being a place of opportunity and public investment."

"Then you of course have slightly cheaper options in terms of office space in south London - you have Croydon, Enfield - places like that - where there's business activity and it's perhaps slightly cheaper to set up an office space," he concluded.
