Self Storage Charlton

I recently moved to a new flat and because my move is temporary, I found that I needed to open an account with your Charlton self storage centre so that I could put away some of my possessions.

For many reasons, the day that I was moving proved to be stressful and rushed however, my anxiety was significantly lifted when I visited your store and had one of your staff, Trevor Jackson explain the details and help me open my new account.

I must admit, because of the circumstances, I wasn’t as attentive as I could have been but throughout the time he assisted me Trevor was conscientious, showed great patience and was exceptionally helpful.

I am writing to thank Safestore and especially Trevor for the support I received when moving and how I look forward to using your services again when I’m ready to move later in the year.

Thank you and all the Charlton team for the enormous support you have given throughout the course of 2008. As ever you went out of your way to help us even when our requests bordered on the unreasonable.

On behalf of everyone at Action Against Hunger, I would like to thank you and everyone at Safestore for so generously donating storage space to us at your Safestore storage centre in Charlton. This has been absolutely crucial in the success of our ‘Love Food. Fight Hunger’ campaign and has resulted in us raising significantly more than we otherwise would have been able to.

Thanks also for kindly agreeing to allow us to make use of the storage unit until September.

I am pleased to report that Taste of London, the last event we were present at, was a great success for us and thanks to your support and that of other companies, we raised over £7,000 through the sales of bags, cakes and by the way of two other events at the festival. This is a really fantastic sum of money and we greatly appreciate your decision to support us.

As you are aware, Action Against Hunger is working to combat hunger and malnutrition in 43 of the poorest countries Worldwide, by providing for people’s immediate needs when food is scarce and just as importantly, by providing families with the tools, seeds and support they need to build a sustainable future.

In light of the current global food crisis, the work done by our field workers at programme-level is more important than ever and by the same token, the contribution you have made is even more vital and appreciated. The money raised at Taste of London will help us to alleviate the suffering of those worst affected.
