With convenience at the heart of everything we do, we are thrilled to announce our recent acquisition of Alligator Self Storage, which held a number of stores across Great Britain and France. This takes the number of Safestore facilities to 122 plus two business centres in Great Britain and a further 34 storage facilities throughout Europe.

Our Chief Executive, Frederic Vecchioli is confident that this acquisition has secured our position as market leaders in our field in both the British and French markets. He says that the acquisition has, "Supplemented the organic growth being delivered by the existing business" and allows us to offer our customers even greater convenience and ease of access to secure, high quality self storage units.

We can now be found in Nottingham and Fareham for the first time, and our other newly acquired sites have expanded our presence in several major cities around the country; all of our sites, new and existing, are within easy reach of major road networks.

The staff teams at our new sites have been trained up to deliver the high standard of customer care that comes as standard across the Safestore brand and are already enjoying being part of a larger organisation as we are dedicated to ensuring their continued professional development and providing them with proper support from our Regional and Divisional Managers.

Whether you choose an existing Safestore location or one of our newly-acquired sites, rest assured that you will receive the same high level of customer service and care. All of our units are monitored by 24 hour CCTV, protected by intruder alarms and covered by sprinkler systems; we offer dry and clean. If you need to store items at more than one site, our multi-site account managers can coordinate everything for you so that you can choose the right size and location of storage units from all the options available with no hassle and only a single invoice to pay.
