How to renovate a kitchen for less than £500
January is the best time to set your goals for the year ahead and decide what you'd like to accomplish.  Whether it's dieting, getting a new job or learning a new skill, a new beginning is a great chance to start the year as you mean to go on.

Redecorating your home is the perfect way to breathe life back into the house and a comfortable living space does wonders for the soul.  Revamping tired rooms or making more use out of wasted space can change the feel of a house entirely and while property prices continue to rocket, it might be best to make use of the space you've got in order to save money.

The kitchen for many is the heart of the home; it's where you meet for dinner, discuss everyone's days, where children's artwork hangs on the fridge and, practically speaking, one of the most used rooms in the house.  Therefore keeping your kitchen in tip-top condition is important and giving it a makeover needn't break the bank.

Renovating your kitchen on a budget

1. Paint your kitchen cupboards

This gives the room an instant lift and can be done for less than £100 if you choose the right paint.  Dulux's incredible Kitchen Plus paint is just £18.98 per litre and comes in a range of stunning colours.
