This year has been a busy, unexpected and difficult year for everyone. We have all struggled in one way or another, and bright spots feel hard to come by.
Luckily, there is a little bit of sunshine on the horizon – this is the ninth year running that Safestore has supported Hands On London and its partners with their yearly
Wrap Up campaign. What better way to feel a little more cheerful about the year we’ve had than giving to someone else? Read on to put a spring in your step with Wrap Up.
What is Wrap Up?
Haven’t heard about this amazing campaign? Hands On London and Human Appeal’s Wrap Up 2020 campaign encourages you to donate old coats to help others stay warm this winter. Running from the 9th to 23rd November 2020 (and to the 25th November in London), it is a wonderful way to help others during this difficult year.
How many coats are collected?
Last year, over 33,000 coats were collected and then sent out to over 100 charities across the UK. Nearly 159,000 coats have been collected since the campaign launched in 2011, and we hope that we at Safestore can encourage you to help us collect more coats than ever before in 2020!
Stay safe with Safestore
We know that at the moment, you will be staying at home more than going out – and if you’re anything like us, that has resulted in some serious cleaning and tidying. If you have a pile of old coats lying around, now is the perfect time to clear them out of your space, and give to a worthy cause at the same time.
