  1. Bonus Scheme

    All of our sales colleagues are eligible for our performance-based monthly bonus scheme and can earn up to 50% of their monthly salary. Our head office colleagues are eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus which is calculated against business targets and objectives.

  2. Holiday

    All members of staff receive 20 days paid holiday, which increases by one day for each year of employment to a maximum of 25 days after three years’ service.

  3. Sick Pay Scheme

    We offer a company sick pay scheme.

  4. Pension

    All eligible colleagues will be auto-enrolled into the Safestore Group Personal Pension Plan.

  5. Healthcare

    Some roles at Safestore are eligible for private healthcare cover. Talk to us at your interview about whether this applies to you.

  6. Life Assurance

    When you join the Safestore team, you are automatically covered so that your family will receive a tax-free lump sum payment in the event of your death. This benefit is provided free to every Safestore colleague from day one.

  7. Childcare help

    Safestore is registered with Computershare Voucher Services, enabling eligible parents to exchange up to £243 per month (£55 per week) of your gross salary for childcare vouchers. The exchanged proportion of your salary is exempt from tax and National Insurance contributions, meaning you can make savings of up to £933 per year on your childcare costs. Childcare vouchers can be used to save money on all types of registered childcare for children up to 16 years old.

  8. Staff Discounts

    We encourage you and your family to use our services and offer discounts as follows:
    50% discount on storage
    20% discount on merchandise purchases

  9. ShareSave

    Safestore makes an offer to colleagues to save up to £500 per monthly pay period for a fixed 3 or 5 year term. You can take the money at the end of the term or use it to buy Safestore shares at a discounted rate to the market price.

  10. Cycle2Work Scheme

    Safestore is pleased to participate in the Cycle to Work scheme, through Cyclescheme. It enables you to get a bike tax-free, saving about half the cost on average.

  11. Payroll Giving

    Payroll Giving is the most tax effective way for you to support charities and good causes. All Safestore colleagues are eligible to join Payroll Giving, you can make a donation by authorising us to deduct a set amount from your salary or pension income.
