Purchasing packaging and boxes from the online Boxshop
You have 14 days after Safestore confirms acceptance of the Boxshop order to cancel the order (the cooling off period). If you receive goods, you must agree with Safestore to return these to your local Safestore branch or return by post to Safestore to be eligable for a refund. In this instance, shipping costs will the responsibilty of the buyer. Returned goods must be in unused condition in order for a refund to be approved.
Digital Storage Agreement (Online Sign-Up) ie. you did not sign a Storage Licence in person at the branch
You have 14 days after digitally signing the Storage Licence Agreement to change your mind (the cooling-off period). If you move your goods into storage during this 14 day period, the terms of the storage contract will apply and the cooling-off period will end.
Safestore can use any payment made by You to settle some or all of this. You can cancel by email or post to your Safestore branch detailing your wish to cancel your licence within the cooling off period along with your name, address, room number and the start date of your Licence.
Moving out of / vacating your storage unit
You need to give notice at least 14 days before the invoice date of your storage agreement.
Notice must be given in writing - either by email, post or at your Safestore location. It must contain your name, unit number and the cancellation date.
