Safestore wants more sites!

Safestore is a FTSE 250 company and the largest self storage provider in the UK, now with 132 stores nationwide, including two business centres.

In the last 18 months, we’ve opened new stores in Wigan (Feb 2023), Morden (Mar 2023), Ellesmere Port (Oct 2023), and St Albans (Sept 2024). We’ve also launched our automated store in Eastleigh (Nov 2023), with Lea Bridge set to open later in Nov 2024.

Our pipeline continues to grow, with new stores planned for 2025 in Watford, Woodford, Wembley, and Walton.

We are actively looking for more sites across the UK and within the M25.

​What are we looking for?

• Sites across London and the UK
• Main road prominence preferred
• Freehold or Leasehold sites over 0.5 acres
• Existing buildings ideally between  10,000 - 100,000 sq ft
• Minimum eaves height of 4.5m
• Existing self-storage operators

• We are flexible on our format inside the M25 and will consider smaller stores, basements, car parks, and mixed use opportunities.

• Fees will be paid to non-retained agents.
