Safestore is a FTSE 250 company and the largest Self Storage provider in the UK with 119 stores and two business centres.

Over the past 24 months, Safestore has fully integrated the Alligator portfolio into the estate, adding 12 new stores in addition to new stores opening in London: at Paddington Marbie Arch and Mitcham. Our pipeline continues to grow with four new stores planned for 2019 in Carshalton (South London), Merry Hill (Birmingham), Peterborough and Gateshead (subject to Planning).

We want more sites across the UK and within the M25.

​What are we looking for?
  • Sites across London and the UK
  • 0.4 - 2 acre development sites suitable for B8 Self Storage
  • Freehold or Long Leasehold
  • Existing buildings considered with scope to provide at least 50,000 sq ft GIA
  • Floor to ceiling heights 3.0m
  • Main road prominence preferred

Inner London
  • We are flexible on our format inside the M25 and will consider smaller stores, basements, car parks, and mixed use opportunities.
  • Buildings of 25,000 sq ft upwards and leaseholds considered
 
Fees
  • Fees will be paid to non-retained agents.
