A few things worth knowing before you start
- No deposit required.* You won't need to pay a separate deposit to reserve your space.
- Move in the same day, in most cases. As long as it's during store opening hours and you bring the right ID with you.
- Stay as long as you need, from a single day upwards. If your plans change, you can leave early or extend, so check the notice period for your contract type on our FAQs page.
- No hidden extras. The price you're quoted includes your rental period and VAT.
- Your quote is valid for 7 days; after 7 days, the price is subject to change.
*Your first invoice is payable in advance of moving in, in place of a deposit. This means there's nothing extra to settle or refund when you leave.
What to budget for
A padlock
You'll need your own padlock to secure your room and stay the sole key holder. We stock a full range of high-security padlocks in store if you need one on the day.
Contents cover
Your belongings need to be covered while in storage. Use your own insurance, provided it meets our minimum cover requirements, or add our StoreProtect cover. See our FAQs for details.
What happens after you get your quote

- Pick a store and size. Switch either at any point before you commit.
- Reserve online, by phone, or in person. Whichever suits you best.
- Bring two forms of ID when you move in. One photo ID and proof of address.
- Move in and start storing. Most stores can get you in the same day.

Found a cheaper quote locally? We'll beat any comparable quote by 10% for the first 8 weeks of your rental, when you show it to us within 28 days of moving in. After that, your price is matched and stays fixed for up to 26 weeks, then reverts to our standard storage rate.
How it works

- For individual self storage rooms of the same size as the competitor's (container storage is not included)
- The competitor must be within 3 miles of your store inside the M25, or within 5 miles elsewhere in the UK
- Comparisons use the total storage charge including VAT, based on a 4 week stay
