Safestore Bury is located on Crostons Road, Bury, BL8 1AF - beside the Vauxhall garage on Jubilee Way, close to Bury town centre and approximately five minutes from Junction 2 of the M66.

By road from the M66: Exit at Junction 2 and take the 2nd exit onto Rochdale Road. Follow Rochdale Road and Angouleme Way to the traffic lights at Manchester Road. Turn right onto Jubilee Way and stay in the right lane, then move into the 3rd lane signed for Ramsbottom. Continue past B&M and through the Vauxhall lights, then take the next right by Screwfix and AWR Garage to reach Safestore. Journey time from J2 of the M66 is approximately five minutes. The M66 connects directly with the M60 Manchester Orbital to the south, giving access to Manchester, the M62, and the wider motorway network.

On foot from Bury Bus Station: Walk along Market Street to the mini roundabout and turn left onto Bolton Street. Just after Irwell Street, take the small path leading under the main Bolton Street / Jubilee Way junction. Go through the subway and follow the path left towards the Ford and Vauxhall garages. Walk around the front of the Vauxhall garage and you'll see Safestore directly beside it.

By Metrolink / bus: From Bury Bus Station / Metrolink terminus, take bus 469, 474, 477, 480, or 511. Get off at Waterloo Street by B&M at Crostons Park, or at Walshaw Road (services 469, 480, and 511). If travelling on the 474 or 477, alight at Merton Street, just after B&M. From any of these stops, simply cross the road and you will arrive at Safestore. The Metrolink terminus at Bury is approximately 10 minutes' walk from the store (follow the walking directions above), with direct trams running to Manchester city centre, Piccadilly, and Altrincham.

It was my first ...

It was my first time using this DHL service or visiting the location. I had a courier arranged over the phone to collect a parcel from my address yet I was unable print a label. Mo & Connor were both at their desks when I entered and instantly and calmly worked in tandem to efficiently assist in expediting the service I asked for. Further to that, they exceeded my expectations by arranging and reassuring me they could have the parcel collected from their location. All questions were proactively addressed and I was left in no doubt that my parcel would get its destination safely and securely. I usually stress-inducing task for me was handled brilliantly. I left feeling perkier, calmer & brighter than when I went in; setting me up well for the rest of my day.

I called Safestore Bury today and received absolute peace of mind thanks to Connor! From the moment he answered the phone, he was incredibly friendly, professional, and patient while answering all of my questions. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and even gave me helpful advice and information I hadn’t previously considered, which I really appreciated.
