By road from the M3 / A34: Exit the M3 at Junction 9, where it meets the A34. Follow the A33 (Bar End Road) north towards Winchester city centre. At the Bar End roundabout, take the exit for the Winnall Industrial Estate and follow signs for Moorside Road. Journey time from J9 is under five minutes. The A34 heads northbound from Junction 9 towards Newbury, Oxford, and the Midlands. The M3 connects northbound to Basingstoke and London, and southbound to Southampton and the M27.

From Winchester city centre: Head east along Eastgate Street and continue via Bar End Road (A33). Take the turn for Winnall Industrial Estate at the Bar End roundabout. Moorside Road is clearly signposted within the estate. The journey from Winchester city centre takes around five minutes by car.

By train: Winchester railway station (South Western Railway) is approximately 1.5 miles west of the store, with regular services to London Waterloo (journey time approximately one hour), Southampton Central, and Basingstoke. Taxis from the station to the store take around five minutes.

had a really good experience using Safe Store. The facility was clean, secure, and easy to access, which gave me peace of mind about leaving my belongings there. The staff were friendly and helpful, answering any questions I had and making the whole process smooth from start to finish. Pricing was reasonable and transparent, with no surprises. Really great service from ...

Really great service from everyone at the Safestore Winchester branch, it was always easy to get in touch when I had questions. It also turned out I had booked the wrong size storage unit and they were quickly able to arrange an alternative unit without delaying the moving van from unloading. Would use again and recommend to anyone looking for storage.

We had a pretty positive experience with Safestore Winchester. The unit sizes were to description and the move in process was simple and quick, exactly what we needed in a bit of an emergency so thank you! The loading bays are on a slope which made it a little tricky to load and unload items onto trolleys, especially big items but manageable with a couple of people. Our only concern was the price increases, these were disclosed at the start, but the rises across six months were quite significant. For us, the price rises didn’t make the unit suitable long-term with competitors offering a much lower rate. However, for shorter-term storage, I would reuse the company. Thank you again SafeStore Winchester for your storage at short notice!
