• Do I need to buy self storage insurance to store my belongings at Safestore Bury?

  At Safestore Self Storage Bury, the safety and security of your belongings is our utmost priority. However, in the very unlikely event that something happens to your belongings, such as a fire or flood, whilst storing with us, we require all customers to have adequate insurance to cover the replacement value of your goods for the duration of your stay.  This is an industry standard and most reputable storage facilities will require it. As an alternative to arranging your own Insurance we can accept an enhanced liability for Loss or Damage which may occur during storage under StoreProtect up to your stated Maximum Replacement Value. “StoreProtect” means an agreement by us to accept an enhanced liability for loss or damage to your goods as described in the StoreProtect Addendum. If you opt for StoreProtect, You have the option, but not the obligation, to insure Your Goods.
