At Safestore Chelsea, we offer self storage at a low, weekly price. You can stay for a single week or for as long as you need, and we offer a 20% discount if you stay with us for over a year. You can increase or decrease the size of your storage room at any time during your stay - we find that businesses find this feature particularly useful because stock can fluctuate throughout the year. With our flexible terms, you won’t pay for more storage space than you need.
Our video guides can help you to work out what size of room will work best for what you want to store, or our helpful team are available by phone, online chat or in store to offer advice.
Safestore self storage in Chelsea
We have indoor, secure storage rooms that range in size from 10 sq ft lockers up to warehouse-sized space of 500 sq ft+. Our lockers are often used by householders to store belongings such as gardening, sporting or camping equipment or out-of-season clothing to reduce clutter at home, or by students to keep their possessions safe during the holidays. Our larger storage units can store more bulky items, including furniture during house moves or renovations, and excess business stock (particularly useful for online retailers).
Our rooms are secured with a key fob entry system, 24 hour recorded CCTV and intruder alarms, and our friendly onsite staff are there during opening hours to accept deliveries for you.
Chelsea, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, is an affluent area of South West London bordered by the River Thames to the South. Once frequented by the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and London’s bohemia, Chelsea is now home to London’s super wealthy as well as the largest communities of Americans living outside of the United States.
The exclusivity of Chelsea came as a result of its high property prices and resulted in the term "Sloane Ranger" in the 1970s which is used to characterise its residents. The Channel 4 reality-television show, Made in Chelsea has documenting the lives of affluent young people living in Chelsea since 2011.
Chelsea Football Club is also located nearby – as a result of Chelsea's expensive location and wealthy residents, Chelsea F.C. has some of the wealthiest local supporters in England.
