Safestore self storage in Oldham
Our Oldham store has office space to rent that is unfurnished to keep the costs low and to allow you to tailor it to your business’s needs. Our friendly team are on hand to help, and can even accept deliveries for you so you don’t have to interrupt your working day to sign for any parcels.
Our indoor storage rooms are available in a wide range of sizes, starting at 10 sq ft (about the size of a saloon car boot, ideal if you need somewhere to store seasonal belongings like camping gear or Christmas decorations) right up to warehouse-sized space of 500 sq ft+ (which can comfortably accommodate all your business stock - great for online retailers - or your household contents during a move).
The store is monitored by 24 hour recorded CCTV and an intruder system, and our storage rooms are very accessible thanks to our loading bays and double door access. At our Oldham store, you can also make use of our FREE forklift truck service operated by our trained staff.
Why Oldham?
Oldham is just to the northeast of Manchester, right on the doorstep of the Peak District National Park. Its location makes it ideally placed for people who may want to work in Manchester without paying the high rents and house prices associated with the city, and/or for those who want easy access to some of the UK's most beautiful countryside at the weekends.
It’s far from a commuter town, though - Oldham has a thriving economy of its own (mainly in manufacturing, the motor trade and education) and a wide range of shops and a traditional market, all of which are easy to reach thanks to the Metrolink tram system that runs through the town from Manchester. There are also a number of regular festivals and concerts (such as the Whit Friday Brass Band Contest and the Saddleworth Rush Cart Festival), so locals always have plenty to keep them entertained!
