One storage unit for all of your products

Perhaps you’ve found that the storage facilities offered by Amazon are too restrictive, especially if you want to store stock that you’ll sell via other online platforms such as Etsy and eBay. 

Using a Safestore unit for all of your stock, tools, equipment and supplies will allow you to monitor your stock levels more accurately. You’ll also have everything in one place ready to send to your customers, wherever they are and through whichever site they have found your business.

Flexibility is central to our contracts. With Safestore, you can:
  • Increase or decrease the size of your unit if your stock levels fluctuate - you won’t have to pay for more space than you need, and you can quickly and easily arrange for more space (subject to availability) if you want to build up your stock at times of high demand, such as Christmas. 
  • Keep your unit for just a week or for as long as you need on a weekly rolling contract.

We know that quick turnaround is crucial when fulfilling orders on Amazon.  The majority of our stores are open 7 days a week during normal business hours, and many allow 24-hour access to your unit. When you receive orders from your customers, you can get access to your unit quickly and easily so that you can pick your stock and send it out without delay.


4. Deliveries accepted for you

If you’re expecting a delivery of stock or other supplies, you may be able to have these sent directly to the Safestore where you keep your unit. Many of our stores have staff on site who can accept deliveries on your behalf and will keep them safe until you can arrive to take them to your unit. You will never need to waste your valuable work time waiting in for a package again.
 

5. Deliveries and packaging

We sell packaging supplies such as bubble wrap and boxes on site, making it easy for you to pick up fresh supplies if you run out. 

Each Safestore is also a DHL Service Point, so you can send your parcels to your customers direct from all of our stores and you are also welcome to use your own couriers. 
 

6. Multi-use storage units

More than 50 of our stores also have office space available to rent. If you don’t have enough admin to require an office, though, it’s worth knowing that many Amazon sellers who store their stock with us also use their storage unit as office space. You can set up a desk, computer and packaging area and wrap up your deliveries directly from your shelves. 
 

7. Discounts for longer-term stays

As mentioned above, you can keep your unit for however long you may need it.   • drive up room access 
  • covered loading bays
  • double door entry
  • extra-wide corridors
  • lifts and/or ground-floor units
We can also provide trolleys to help you with loading and unloading, and shelves to help you to maximise the use of your space.
 

9. Forklift truck service

Of particular use to our Amazon sellers is our forklift truck (FLT) availability. If you have bulk stock to move in and out of your unit, many of our stores can provide FLTs. You can use these if you have a valid FLT licence, but if you don’t have this then it may be possible for a member of our team to load and unload your unit for you with one of our FLTs. This is often free. The availability of our FLT service depends on the store and staffing, so please enquire about which stores near you provide this service when calling to reserve a unit.
 



10. Nationwide services

If your business is particularly large or you have more than one base of operations, you may be interested in becoming a National Accounts Customer. With this service, you can have use of self storage units at several locations (wherever is convenient for your business) nationwide, overseen by a dedicated Accounts Manager. You’ll receive a single, weekly invoice for all of your units and there are preferential terms of business including extended credit terms if you decide to go ahead.
