Why Bristol?
Bristol is a hugely popular place to live, work and study, not least because of its location close to some of England’s most beautiful countryside in the Cotswolds. Unemployment rates are low, housing is affordable, schools are good and residents and tourists alike are spoilt for choice when it comes to venues for shopping, dining and entertainment.
Known as the ‘birthplace of America’ the city has an interesting history - it has at various times been home to Captain Blackbeard, John Wesley (founder of the Methodist church) and Isambard Kingdom Brunel to name but a few. More modern residents include Banksy, Aardman Animations (creators of Wallace and Gromit) and JK Rowling.
