I have to say right from the first request for a quote the Colchester Safestore team have been brilliant. Jo followed up on my request by telephone and she got a grasp of my situation as a whole and talked me through what she thought suited it best both practically and financially. Moving house is never a pleasant process with many bumps and stresses on the way. With a little as promised price match debate with rival storage company i felt Safestore was for me! On the first date of storage contract i sat down with Nick to go through the paperwork etc.. after a little issue with my eyesight and the padlock number - needed my glasses ha! he showed me the unit - it was all made so clear and simple - a charming man with a "no question too stupid" approach which is a bit of a rarity - this team really care about their customer experience and that's exactly what you need.

I simply enquired about a storage locker and never agreed to anything. I was then harassed via email and phone for weeks, receiving multiple calls a day and invoices. It was very desperate.

We needed a storage room at the last minute, for a set amount of time.
Christine was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all our questions, gave us really good advice, with a professional and pleasant attitude on every occasion we came to the store. When we rang with more questions, Mark answered our queries patiently and again, professionally.
Also, the limited parking space worried us a bit at first, but in our numerous visits over 3 weeks, there was never any issue, be it during the week or on week-ends. Other clients are courteous as everyone makes sure they don't block the way for others, and no one stays very long.
All in all, this was a really pleasant experience -at a difficult time of packing and moving. I would use Safestore again anytime and highly recommend them.
