Safestore self storage in Sunderland
Our Sunderland store is monitored by 24 hour recorded CCTV and intruder alarms. We operate a key fob entry system at this store, and you’ll be the only person who can access your storage space. We’re open 7 days a week and you can visit your room as many times as you need during opening hours.
We have storage rooms ranging from 10 sq ft lockers (great for student storage - keep your belongings safe over the holidays) up to warehouse-sized rooms of 500 sq ft+, capable of holding any amount of household furniture during a move or renovations. We also have dedicated business units suitable for all of your business stock, tools and equipment. Double door access is available for easier loading and unloading, and we have rooms with ceilings of 10 ft if you have larger items to store.
Our offices are available on flexible terms and offer an affordable alternative to entering into a traditional commercial lease.
We have a helpful team in-store during opening hours to help you, and they can even accept deliveries on your behalf - we’ll keep them safe until you arrive to put them into your room, so you can safely have parcels sent directly to the store rather than your home or work address.
Why Sunderland?
Sunderland was recently crowned the best city to live and work in. Research by OneFamily finance firm found that Mackems are amongst the happiest people in the country, more than satisfied with factors such as local employment, house prices, crime levels and living costs.
The city has excellent transport links and the city has a bustling centre, thanks in part to its sizeable student population. A stone’s throw from the city centre there are beautiful, Blue Flag beaches (the closest being Roker beach), stretches of coastline great for walking and hunting for sea glass (Ryhope beach is particularly good for this) and plenty of green spaces inland.
